Learn how to stretch an image.

1. Open up any image you would like to minipulate.
2. Make a selection using the 1px marquee tool anywhere in the image where you would like the stretch to begin.
3. Next go to Edit > Copy merged. Then go to Edit > Paste. This will place your future stretch on a new layer, allowing you to make changes later on if needed.
4. Now go to Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl+T). Select one of the nodges and press and hold the left mouse button to the left or right.
